Pinterest is a social media site that weighs in heavily on the top
of all the sites.
The average pin drives 2 visits and 6 page views to the link you
are providing in the pin. It is worth .78 cents in sales and typically
gets 10 repins.
It has latent visits, 1/2 of the visits occur 3 months after you post
the pin and 1/2 of the orders or conversions come in 2 months after
you post the pin. This is so different than FB, once a post is buried
it's basically gone.
Pinterest is a starting point where FB is a destination where people
never leave. It is an inspiring platform where viewers move to other
sites and it is great for attracting new fans!
